Thomas J. McGrath, D.V.M., Ph.D.
Dr. McGrath is a native of the Hudson River Valley of New York. He received his B.S. from Cornell University and his M.S., D.V.M. and Ph.D. degrees from Texas A&M University. He has practiced in Pennsylvania since 1987. His special interests are in surgery including soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. He currently sits on the State Board of Veterinary Medicine and is on the Board of Directors of P.E.T.S. He is married to Ann Myers who is a certified veterinary technician and registered nurse, and they have two daughters, Caitlin and Christine.

Cynthia Lee Albright, V.M.D.
Dr. Albright is a native of York, PA. She received her B.S. from Lebanon Valley College and her V.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. She has practiced small animal medicine and surgery for 23 years. Her special interests are in internal medicine including dermatology, cardiology and endocrinology.

Dr. Albright is the proud recipient of the 2006 Doris Day
Animal Foundation's Kindred Spirit award and is the only Pennsylvanian to be so honored. The award is given by the Foundation to individuals who have shown extraordinary compassion or kindness towards animals and who inspired others to follow their fine examples. |

April M. Lynch, D.V.M.
Dr. Lynch is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. She received her B.S. in animal science from the University of Kentucky and her D.V.M. from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. While in veterinary school she also met her husband, Ben. She started practicing in Nashville, Tennessee where she trained under a board-certified dermatologist. Her husband and her then moved to Lancaster, PA because Ben is from this area. They have one daughter, Cadence, who was born in 2005. Dr. Lynch's special interests include dermatology, geriatrics, internal medicine - especially endocrinology and nutrition. |

Ann Myers McGrath, Certified Veterinary Technician
Ann graduated from Wilson College in 1987 with an AS in Veterinary Medical Technology. She is married to Dr. Tom McGrath and has been with the practice since 1993 when they acquired Donegal Animal Hospital. Ann & Tom have two daughters, Caitlin and Christine, four dogs and two cats. Ann enjoys pursuing her nursing education, and in her spare time like to relax with yoga and being outdoors. |

Michelle Crist, Certified Veterinary Technician
Michelle graduated from Wilson College in 1989 with an AS in Veterinary Medical Technology. She has been with Donegal Animal Hospital since 1999. Michelle has two children Max and Bryce, two cats Eric and Ernie, and is an avid hiker and bird watcher.

Kari Herchelroth, Certified Veterinary Technician
Kari graduated with honors from Wilson College in 2003 with a BS in Veterinary Medical Technology. She has worked for Donegal Animal Hospital since 2000, first as a veterinary assistant and then as a veterinary technician. Kari has a dog Preston, three cats, and a hamster named Tubby. She enjoys camping, "Jeepin" with Erin, playing soccer, and spending time with family and loved ones.

Heidi Bixler, Certified Veterinary Technician
Heidi graduated from Harcum College in 2000 with an A.S. in Veterinary Technology and from Penn State University in 2002
with a B.S. in Animal Science. Heidi and her husband have two children and a chocolate Lab. She enjoys scrap-booking, promoting her gourmet candle business and spending time outdoors.

Rebecca Weaver, Certified Veterinary Technician
Becky graduated from Wilson College in 2005 with a BS in Veterinary Medical Technology. She has been working in the veterinary field since 1996 and joined our staff in March 2007. Becky has a dog, Cobata, and enjoys hiking, camping and kayaking. |

Samantha Eisenhauer, Veterinary Assistant
Sam attended Harcum College for a year and a half in the Veterinary Technician program. She has worked for Donegal Animal Hospital since 1996. Her pets include cats, snakes, four turtles and two dogs. Samantha recently graduated with an associate degree in registered nursing.

Heather Gage, Veterinary Assistant
Heather attended Delaware Valley College for two years in the pre-veterinary program. She worked for Donegal Animal Hospital from 1997 through 2001 and returned to us in June of 2005. Heather and her husband have two daughters and three cats. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Erin Mattern, Veterinary Assistant
Erin graduated from Delaware College in 2005 with a BS in Animal Bio-Technology and Conservation. She has two dogs: Blitz and Freddie, a rabbit named Milton, and a bearded dragon named Drake. Erin enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking in the mountains and other outdoor activities.

Eva "Nikki" Camacho, Veterinary Assistant
Nikki received a certificate as a Veterinary Assistant from Stratford Career Institute in 2005. She has been an emergency responder for ORCA dealing with sick and injured animals for 2 years. She has two dogs: Belle and Lestat, and two cats: Peanut and Lasher. Nikki enjoys spending time with her pets, reading and working with computers.

Alexandra "Allie" Bohlander, Veterinary Assistant
Allie joined our staff in the Spring of 2007. She has worked in the veterinary field since April 2000. In addition to taking a course in laboratory procedures, she also received a certificate in bookkeeping. Allie enjoys spending her time doing outside work, reading and sewing. |
